Where standard plastic-bodied UV units lose a portion of their UV output to absorption, the XUV’s metal housing reflects UV-C rays within the chamber — increasing effective dose per pass and delivering measurably better performance at equivalent wattages.
The stainless steel housing on the XUV25S through XUV120S is built for permanent outdoor installation and long-term durability. The XUV16A uses an aluminum housing with equivalent reflectance benefits. All models feature a multi-directional 2″ outlet with a mounting bracket for secure inline installation. A single-lamp, single-chamber design simplifies lamp replacement and reduces the total cost of maintenance compared to multi-lamp configurations.
Five models range from 16W to 120W, covering ponds from 4,500 to 14,000 gallons. All models operate at a maximum pressure of 36 psi / 2.5 bar for compatibility with pressurized filtration systems. Maximum recommended flow rates are specified per model to ensure adequate UV dwell time for effective sterilization. Backed by a 2-year warranty on the ballast and a 5-year warranty on the housing.
