Teton XS Series Mag Drive Fountain Pump is designed for applications where quiet operation, compact size, and precise flow control matter more than high volume. Powered by a sealed magnetic drive motor, the XS drives a stainless steel shaft impeller with a seamlessly coated magnet — the only moving part. No oil means no contamination risk in freshwater planted tanks, reef aquariums, or aquaponics grow systems.

Built-in flow control is the standout practical feature. A flow adjustment dial lets the user set the exact rate needed — whether that’s a gentle trickle for a tabletop fountain or a stronger flow for a garden statuary feature. No external valve needed. The low-water intake prefilter screen prevents debris from entering the impeller while keeping maintenance intervals manageable.

Heat- and stress-resistant molded plastic housing handles continuous submersion in both indoor and outdoor applications. Thermally protected motor adds safety. Adapters are included: the XS75/XS100/XS115/XS165 fit 3/8″ and 1/2″ ID vinyl tubing; the XS215/XS250 fit 3/8″, 1/2″, 5/8″, and 3/4″ ID vinyl tubing. Cord lengths: 6 ft on the XS75 and XS100; 16 ft on all other models. 2-year warranty.

Magnetic Drive Operation

A sealed electromagnet in the motor housing generates a rotating magnetic field.
The field drives a stainless steel shaft impeller fitted with a seamlessly coated magnetic impeller — the only moving part, with no direct mechanical connection.
Water is drawn in through the prefilter screen at the base and pumped upward through the outlet at the selected flow rate.
The built-in flow control dial restricts the outlet to reduce flow without creating back-pressure stress on the motor.
The thermally protected motor monitors operating temperature and shuts down automatically to prevent burnout if overheated.

Placement in Pond

Submerge fully in the fountain basin, pond, aquarium, or feature reservoir. Keep the prefilter screen clear of the bottom surface and walls to ensure unrestricted intake. For statuary and indoor features, position so the water outlet tube connects directly to the feature head fitting using the included vinyl tubing adapters. The compact design fits most commercial fountain basins, tabletop bases, and aquarium sumps.
